Founder's Story

The story of SPARK Microgravity began with a single question: Why shouldn’t access to space be within reach for more of us?

For too long, microgravity research was the domain of only a few—capped by high costs, complex logistics, and barriers that kept even the most innovative ideas grounded. As a nontraditional founder, my path to aerospace wasn’t the typical trajectory. My background and experience brought a fresh perspective, and I realized that by combining the best minds from diverse fields—engineering, software, aerospace, and materials science—we could build something different. Something with purpose and impact.

The idea was simple: create an affordable, all-in-one platform that connects the dots between hardware, software, and rideshare. This platform would make it easier for researchers, companies, and innovators to launch their ideas and explore new possibilities in microgravity.

Along the way, I was joined by an extraordinary team—a Chief Technology Officer who is driven by innovation in hardware design, a Chief Operating Officer with decades in aerospace, a legal mind attuned to the complexities of cross-border regulations, and experts with decades experience from NASA, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, and more. Each brought their expertise to the table, but more importantly, each shared the same commitment to making microgravity accessible and impactful.

Today, SPARK Microgravity is more than a company; it’s a platform for discovery. It’s a way to help others push beyond boundaries, to make space an arena for everyone who wants to learn, explore, and create. This is our story—and we’re just getting started.
